Delicate Lily of the Valley, may be a diminutive flower, but the small, bell-shaped buds are highly fragrant. An exquisite and rarest of treats, with a short vase life presented in an apothecary bottle. 

Lily of the valley is steeped in legend. Some say it formed from Eve's tears as she left the Garden of Eden, and the Greek god Apollo was told to have created it so his nymphs would have a soft carpet to walk on. A forest bloom appearing in earliest Spring, in Medieval times it was placed by a young man on his beloved's doorstep, to be worn in her hair at the spring courtship dances if she accepted his invitation. These stories and many more have led to its association with Spring and brides with the meaning of love, motherhood, sweetness and happiness.
